SOPA - Software Panel
The Software Panel SOPA is a flexible, easy to operate display system for applications in broadcast studios, technical rooms, etc. It replaces the old electromechanical screens made of lamps and mechanical clocks that have the disadvantage of being absolutely inflexible.
The Software Panel can be freely configured by the user to display state boxes, text fields, clocks, timers, etc., at any place on the screen, with any size, shape and colour. Any PC monitor or large screen can be used as display, and the SOPA software is loaded into any existing PC. The SOPA is supplied together with a USB GPI interface for the PC.
The GPIO signals that control the display fields on the screen can be generated in the mixers or other studio equipment, in special keyboards, etc. Texts that are generated in the PC are transmitted as UDP data via LAN to the individual text fields on the screen. They can also be switched on and off by GPIO signals.
The SOPA system can also work in a net with several data sources and displays.
